In-house coating facilities
For many years, GUTMANN has operated its own anodising and powder coating facilities, boasting a total annual coating capacity of 6.3 million square metres. Additionally, two million square metres are coated externally. Our powder coating facility, primarily used for coating window sills, is designed for high volumes and allows for only a limited number of colour changes each day.
New, highly flexible powder coating facility
To better meet our customers' needs, we have invested nearly seven million euros in a new powder coating facility equipped with two coating lines. This facility, with a capacity of 1.4 million m2, is tailored for smaller batch sizes. It can coat profiles, aluminium shells for wood and plastic windows, as well as Z-shape and U-shape edgings. One of the lines is specifically designed for high change rates, enabling the use of up to 60 different colours per day.
Our goal is to achieve the GSB coating classes Premium and Sea Proof as defined by GSB International e.V. (internationale Gütegemeinschaft für die Stückbeschichtung von Bauteilen e.V.; i.e.: International Quality Association for the Piecework Coating of Building Components).
